What you need to know

Keeping our customers' accounts safe is at the core of what we do. As we enhance our security to align with industry requirements we can no longer support some older web browsers and operating systems from 5 June 2019. Below is information on how to ensure your operating system and browser are up to date.

Access to our online banking services and our website will be affected for customers using the below browsers and operating systems:

  • Google Chrome 21 and below
  • Desktop Safari versions 6 and below for OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and below
  • Mobile Safari versions 5 and higher for iOS 5 and higher
  • Mobile Safari for iOS 4 and below
  • Firefox 22 and below
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows XP and earlier
  • Internet Explorer versions 7 and below
  • Mobile Internet Explorer versions 10 and below

Older versions of internet browsers may no longer receive security updates from their developer. To receive these updates and keep your accounts secure, we recommend keeping your operating system and browser updated to the latest version.

Using an updated browser and operating system ensures that you are safe on the web, and have the best experience the internet has to offer. Ensure your browser is up to date so that your online experience is secure and seamless.

Microsoft Edge - Updates to Edge are automatically installed when Windows 10 is updated. So to keep Edge up to date, you need to keep Windows 10 up to date. Microsoft Windows 10 will periodically check for updates and install them. This will automatically mean that you have the latest 'stable' version of the Edge browser.

You can check which version of Android you have and install any available updates by accessing your device's settings. If you are currently using an older Android device (e.g Samsung Galaxy S3) running 4.3, the manufacturer and service provider may no longer support system updates for this model. To continue using online banking services, you will need to upgrade your device. You may need to seek technical advice from a mobile device expert.
