International travel
Are you planning on jet-setting across the globe, or even just interstate? Let us know your travel plans to ensure your accounts aren’t blocked due to unusual activity. Make sure you keep an eye on your accounts as well and let us know as soon as you can if you are worried about anything. Just give us a call on 13 19 87 or use the new feature in our app and internet banking to advise us of your plans.
Payment enhancements
Adding your Newcastle Permanent Debit or Credit card to your digital wallet to use Apple Pay or Google Pay™ has never been easier. You can now link your active Visa Debit card or Value+ Credit Card straight from the Newcastle Permanent app to your digital wallet.
If you want to send proof of payment to a payee, you can share a receipt of your completed payment by text, email or Messenger.
Account management
We have given you the option to remove your old devices from the Newcastle Permanent app. This adds security and gives better control over your accounts. You can also update your electronic consents via Internet Banking. And you’ll be able to receive documents via DocuSign for a much simpler sign-off process.
Accessibility and design
We thought it was time for a fresh new look. Lush green tones throughout create an even better in-app experience for our customers.
We’ve made improvements in the way the app interacts with the VoiceOver iOS screen reading feature for Apple devices, to ensure that our visually impaired customers are catered for.
Customers using VoiceOver will notice improvements on the Home, Log on, Transfers, Profile, and Help pages. More improvements in Voiceover, as well as TalkBack features, will be added in upcoming releases of the app.
We’re proud of the improvements we’re making to ensure our customers can access a world-class Internet Banking experience. And hey, we’ve got a 4.7 star rating on the App Store to show for it too. Not bad.
