Just a heads up, we'll need to verify your identity when discussing your accounts or providing financial advice. This can't be done through social media, so we'll ask you to send a secure message through our app or internet banking, visit us at one of our branches, or give us a call to proceed. Keep it clean

It’s important that our social media channels provide a welcoming, positive and safe space for everyone. We ask that all interactions stay on topic and are conducted with respect and courtesy.

We reserve the right to modify, hide, or remove posts or comments that are considered off-topic, offensive, defamatory, explicit, inappropriate, spammy, misleading, fraudulent, or of a trolling nature. This includes comments that are intentionally inflammatory or designed to provoke, upset or defame community members and our employees.

If someone goes against these guidelines, they'll receive a warning. Failure to comply with this warning may lead to being permanently banned from our social media channels.

Keep it safe

While we sometimes request that customers DM us their contact information so we can assist with enquiries that can’t be resolved on social media, please remain cautious of unprompted calls or messages claiming to from us. These may ask you to provide personal information or direct you to click on a link to verify your details. Never comply with such requests. Instead, contact us directly using a trusted source to check if it is legitimate or not.

If you post any personally identifiable information on this page, such as your bank account details or home address, we ask that you remove it immediately to help maintain your security.

Along with our Privacy Policy, the privacy policy of the relevant social media provider also applies regarding the security and disclosure of this information. In addition to the rights you grant to social media providers, you also grant Newcastle Permanent and their affiliates the right to utilise all posted content in other media, marketing materials, or for general business purposes without any legal or monetary obligation to the author.
