Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation was created by Newcastle Permanent Building Society as a gift to the community in 2003.
That gift, in the form of a $30 million endowment, is to never be returned to the Building Society. Instead, the funds have been invested and each year earnings are presented as grants to organisations helping rewrite the future for our local communities.
