CONDA Awards
Newcastle Permanent is proud to support the 2009 City of Newcastle Drama Awards (CONDA). CONDA awards are the oldest major city theatre awards in Australia. For 30 years they have recognised the achievements of Newcastle theatre personnel in professional and non-professional productions.
Newcastle Permanent awarded Youth Theatre Development Grants to six young people, aged 12 to 20.
Port Macquarie Employee of the Year Awards
Each year Port Macquarie News stages the Hastings Employee of the Year Awards where outstanding local employees are recognised for their contribution to their individual businesses and the broader community. Newcastle Permanent has sponsored these awards since opening a branch in Port Macquarie in 2005.
Newcastle, Armidale and Port Macquarie Sports Awards
The Newcastle, Armidale and Port Macquarie area has a long history of producing first class sportsmen and women, many of whom have gone on to state, national and international acclaim.
These awards celebrate the determination, commitment and success of local sporting stars, highlight the endeavours of local volunteers and committees and recognise the important contribution that sport makes to our local community.
Steel Magnolia Award
Newcastle Permanent in association with Lifeline is proud to support the 2010 Steel Magnolia Award. These awards recognise women who, in overcoming personal adversity and making a positive change in society, inspire others to make a difference in their local community.
Lifeline Central Coast and Lifeline Newcastle and Hunter are calling for nominations. Nominations are open to residents of the Newcastle, Hunter and Central Coast areas.
The Central Coast Steel Magnolia Award luncheon will be held on 5 March 2010 at Igunana's. The Newcastle Steel Magnolia Award dinner will be held on 12 March 2010 at Wests Leagues Club.
